Mount Kenya University Rwanda Students Union (MKURSU)
MKURSU is run by students for students and are voted into office by students every year. The Union champions the student voice and leads campaigns on matters that are important to students. MKURSU also supports the different clubs and sporting activities on campus through the office of the dean of students. The university works closely with the students’ union to provide a well-rounded sports programme cultural events, and outreach activities like (Umuganda) clean up exercises.
The MIS systems are function-specific for instance the
Library Information System (LIS) aids in
recording issuance of books, returns and
bookings, among others. It is also the backbone
of the library’s e-repository system.
